Education only became political when the politics of some began to rely on the ignorance of others. In the age of misinformation, the pursuit of education is very much a political act.

We live in the age of information, an era that will not see its conflicts play out on battlefields, but rather waged within the minds of humanity. The clash of not civilizations but of ideologies. As in times past humanity armed itself with swords to dispatch tyranny, humanity once again will have to arm itself, not with blades but with the truth. When dispelling falsehoods while swords cut, the truth cuts deeper.
